Free After Effects CS6+ Project: Compass UI with Shape Layers and Expressions (d3luxxxe)
Original title: After Effects Tutorial - Compass UI Animation | Shape Layers & Expressions + Free Project
Overview
d3luxxxe shares the After Effects project from a tutorial that builds an intricate compass UI entirely from shape layers. Expressions read out the degrees and orientation, and everything is driven from a single control layer linked to a null.
The creator states that no third-party plugins are required and that the project works in After Effects CS6 or any newer version. The 224 KB project is offered on Gumroad as pay-what-you-want with a $0 minimum.
