Free After Effects Project: Looping Sans Serif Kinetic Type (The Video Shop)

Overview

The Video Shop shares the free project file from the second video in its series on ways to animate fonts in After Effects. The sans serif letters are animated by creating shapes from text and animating the path shapes, with the mask tool used on trickier characters and time remapping to refine timing.

A thin-stroke version is then made with Simple Choker and alpha-matted precomps. The project, listed on Gumroad as SUPER Looping Kinetic Type, is pay-what-you-want from $0.
