Free After Effects Project: Refracted Reeded Glass Effect (Mograph Mill)

Overview

Mograph Mill shares the free project file from its tutorial on a refracted glass effect. The look comes from the Displacement Map effect combined with custom displacement maps to imitate reeded glass, followed by a frosted version and a texture setup that makes it easy to switch styles.

The tutorial description also links the Quick Chromatic Aberration 2 plugin from Plugin Everything. The 12 MB project is pay-what-you-want from $0 on Gumroad.
