Overview
This free Cinema 4D project by CG Shortcuts builds a soft-body Tetris animation with the new unified cloth and soft-body system, so a version from 2023 or later is required. Modeled Tetris pieces are arranged into a cube and then fall into place with cloth dynamics, producing a squishy stacking animation.
Two downloads are offered on the CG Shortcuts tutorials page, soft-body-tetris.zip for the standard renderer and a Redshift version, both free after creating a free account. It is a fun, self-contained study of the modern soft-body workflow in C4D.
