Free Cubase Drum Maps: Yamaha Montage Drum Kits with a Drum Map Generator Script (Michael Trigoboff)

Overview

Michael Trigoboff shares free Cubase drum maps for Yamaha Montage drum kits on GitHub, first released on yamahasynth.com. The drum_maps folder has maps for nine kits, including Schlager Weapon 1, Real Drums Kit, New Maple Custom Kit and Darbuka Sagat Riq.

The included create_dm.py script builds a .drm file from a text copy of any kit's Drum Kit Assign List in the Montage Data List PDF, so each of the up to 128 note names does not have to be typed by hand. A Yamaha Montage is needed to play the kits.
