Free DaVinci Resolve DCTL: Faded Balancer for Faded Film Scans (fabiocolor)

Overview

GitHub user fabiocolor shares Faded Balancer, a free MIT-licensed Transform DCTL for balancing the RGB channels of faded film scans in DaVinci Resolve. It combines an assisted two-point range correction, where a neutral dark point and then a neutral bright point stretch one damaged channel, with direct channel controls, additive and min/max channel mixing, presets and inspection tools.

The README calls it a grading and restoration-preparation tool that can reposition surviving channel information but cannot recreate missing detail. Version 1.7.0 is a single .dctl file on the releases page, next to optional installers.
