Free Godot 3.1 Project: Open Source 2D Action RPG Demo (GDQuest)

Overview

GDQuest shares the full source code of the open-source A-RPG demo produced for its Make Professional 2d Games with Godot course. The demo has a player that can walk, jump and do a three hit combo with a sword, two monsters with steering based movement, and a boss with 3 phases.

Core systems include a LevelLoader, a save and load system, an inventory menu and shop, and a shader to animate the transition between levels. The README states that the project runs in Godot 3.1 and that the entire source code is available under the MIT licence, free on GitHub.
