Free Godot 4.0 Project: Tactical RPG Grid-Based Movement (GDQuest)

Overview

GDQuest shares a demo and intermediate-level tutorial project that shows how to code a grid-based movement as in games like Fire Emblem or Advance Wars. Features include a cursor to navigate the map and select a unit, a display of the unit's walkable area and path preview, and the option to validate or cancel the movement.

The repository contains the original project in the godot folder, a Godot 4 port in the godot4 folder and a start project. Code is MIT licensed with CC-BY-NC-SA 4.0 art, and it is a free download from GitHub.
