Free Godot 4.3 Addon: SmartShape2D Textured 2D Terrain Tool (SirRamEsq)

Overview

SirRamEsq shares SmartShape2D, the Godot 4 version of a plugin for creating nicely textured 2D polys. Placing a few points and creating or assigning a shape material produces a textured polygon, using textures similar to those used for terrain made with TileMaps and TileSets.

The addon folder includes example scenes, and a Godot 3.x version is kept on a separate, no longer maintained branch. The MIT-licensed plugin is a free download from GitHub.
