Free Godot 4.3 Project: Harvester 2D Space Mining Game with Steering AI (GDQuest)

Overview

GDQuest shares Harvester, a free and open-source top-down space mining game made with the Godot game engine. The player docks with asteroid pockets in a procedurally generated map to mine iron and return it to base, while enemy pirates spawn as iron accumulates.

The project is meant to showcase the Godot Steering AI Framework for AI agents, which is included in the project folder. Code is MIT licensed and art assets are CC-BY-NC-SA 4.0, and the repository is a free download from GitHub.
