Free Grasshopper Definition: Kangaroo2 Origami Folding (Daniel Piker)

Overview

Origami.gh is an official Kangaroo2 example by Daniel Piker, author of the plugin, from the folding folder of his public Kangaroo-examples GitHub repository; no Rhino version is stated. The definition folds a crease-pattern mesh into origami with hinge goals and length constraints, and the same folder includes Origami2.gh, origami_springs_only.gh and FoldThroughPrevention.gh for variations.

Kangaroo2 ships with Grasshopper in Rhino 6 and later (also on Food4Rhino), and the files are free direct downloads from GitHub, though no license file is included. The reference example for physics-based folding in Grasshopper.
