Entagma shares this free Houdini project file from its Abstract Wire Sculpture tutorial. Starting from a scan of a Napoleon bust, the setup remeshes with VDB, measures curvature and gradient, builds orthogonal vectors with a cross product, scatters points on edges and advects them in a Solver SOP, then converts the trails into lines with a width attribute and renders in Octane.
