Free Nuke 13 Script: Filtration Mask for Resampled Areas (Split The Diff)

Overview

Sebastian Schutt of Split The Diff shares this setup from episode 1 of his Nuke Timeout series. It creates a mask for the areas of an image that went through filtering, by copying a one-pixel checkerboard into a filtration layer before the transforms and comparing its red and green channels with a min merge afterwards.

The mask can be used to treat areas that got too soft or too sharp, or to apply grain where the plate was resampled. The zip holds one script, Filtration_Mask.nk, saved in Nuke 13.0, and is a free direct download.
