Free Nuke 7.1 Gizmo: Additive Keyer for Hair and Motion Blur (Tyler Lockard)
Original title: Additive Keyer
Overview
Tyler Lockard shares this additive keyer, built with a few studio tweaks on top of Rafal Kaniewski's article on the technique. As the page explains, it is not a keyer that creates a usable matte but a relative mixer that is very good for separating translucent fine details such as motion blur, dust or hair.
It is meant to be used in combination with a normal keyer that provides the core of the comp, and it needs screen prep for uneven screens. Nukepedia lists it as compatible with Nuke 7.1 or later, and it is free with a Nukepedia account.
