Free Nuke Course Script: The Math of Comp (Ben McEwan)

Overview

Ben McEwan's The Math of Comp is a free short course on what Nuke's tools are actually doing to the pixels in your images. Its digital download contains the video lessons, the course transcript and the Nuke script used to demonstrate all the concepts, which includes a custom gizmo and a bonus.

The lessons cover the math of how the Grade node works, different methods of matching blacks, how transforming an image filters its pixels, why node concatenation is important and using ST maps. The download is a pay-what-you-want Gumroad product from $0.
