Free TouchDesigner 099 Project: Structured-Light Multi-Projector Auto Mapping (The Interaction Department)

Overview

The Interaction Department shares Calibration Protocol, an implementation of Tardif and Roy's 'Multi-Projectors for Arbitrary Surfaces Without Explicit Calibration Nor Reconstruction' in TouchDesigner and Python. output_calibration.toe automatically projection maps still images or video onto an arbitrary physical surface using structured light, with components for pattern generation, triggered capture, decoding, grid making and refinement, blending and projector output. The README says it was tested on Windows 8 and 10 with TouchDesigner 099, and using it takes opening the toe and pressing the run button.

The tool is a free direct download from GitHub under the MIT license.
