Free TouchDesigner 2025 Project: Audio Band Split Starter for Audio-Reactive Visuals (caro villeneuve)

Overview

caro villeneuve shares a starter file for splitting audio into frequency bands so that each band drives a different visual layer. The accompanying post gives starting values for a low/sub low-pass at 100 Hz, low-mid and mid band-passes around 200–250 Hz and 1000 Hz, and a high-pass at 3500 Hz, analysed as RMS, normalised and optionally smoothed with a Lag.

The video is part 2 of her OSC audio reactivity tutorial and reuses the network from part 1. The file, audioBandSplitStarter.2.toe, made in TouchDesigner 2025.31740, is free on a public Patreon post.
