Overview

Darien Brito made this short derivative.ca tutorial series on cellular automata and Conway's Game of Life as a tribute to John Conway. The post attaches four components from the series: CellularAutomata1DSimplifiedPixel.tox and CellularAutomata1DCompletePixel.tox for one-dimensional automata, GameOfLife2DPixel.tox for the two-dimensional Game of Life and GameOfLife2DIn3DScene.tox, which places it in a 3D scene.

The author shares them so readers can play with Conway's idea themselves. All four are free downloads from the post's Asset Downloads section.
