Free TouchDesigner Component: MIDI CC Endless Encoder for Continuous Rotation (Fausto Brusamolino)

Overview

Fausto Brusamolino (FaustoB) shares a solution on the Derivative forum for using MIDI controllers with endless encoders, such as a Behringer BCR2000 or APC40 mk2, to drive a continuous rotation. Normally the encoder reaches its digital end at 0 or 127 and the object stops rotating, so the component reads the CC with a MidiIN CHOP, does the calculations, rotates the object and sends MIDI back through a MidiOUT CHOP to reset the value to centre.

A simplified version 2 posted a few days later uses a MIDI In DAT and a Select_MIDIcc table, and was tested with a Behringer BCR2000. Both .tox files are free downloads from the topic.
