Free TouchDesigner Component: pixelMapper for LED Pixel Mapping over sACN DMX (CMU Reactive Spaces Course)

Overview

Jakob Marsico's Carnegie Mellon course Reactive Spaces and Media Architecture explains DMX, sACN (E1.31) and addressable LEDs in this tutorial and shares a custom pixelMapper.tox component. The component takes the imported OBJ pixel locations as a SOP input and the source video as a TOP input, outputs a TOP preview of the mapped lights, and has parameters for the DMX universe, scale, rotate, translate and smoothing.

The tutorial also covers wiring and network setup for a PixLite controller. The .tox is a free Google Drive download from the course's TouchDesigner Examples folder.
