Overview

Lucie Mrc shares an illustrated tutorial with example files on using the MediaPipe TouchDesigner plugin to turn webcam tracking data into interactions. It explains the outputs of the face, hand, pose, object and segmentation nodes, then shows how to move a 2D circle with the hand-pinch position by remapping CHOP channels and how to place 3D elements on the finger tips with data links, instancing or the Replicator. handTrackingExemple.toe demonstrates the data-links method, and the MediaPipe plugin itself is downloaded separately from its own GitHub release.
