Free TouchDesigner Project: Azure Kinect DK Body Tracking Samples (Akira Nakayasu)

Overview

Akira Nakayasu publishes these class notes on driving TouchDesigner with the Azure Kinect DK, from the Kinect Azure TOP and Select TOP to the 99 body-tracking data points received by the Kinect Azure CHOP. The downloadable AzureKinectAmy_test.zip contains AzureKinectAmy_test.toe and character.fbx for linking tracked head rotation to the head joint of an FBX character.

The same page links three smaller projects: sphere instancing on skeleton joints, a box variant and a point cloud drawn with Circle SOP instances. All files are free direct downloads from the author's lecture site, and an Azure Kinect DK is needed for live input.
