Free TouchDesigner Project: CSV Temperature Data Visualisation with Instancing (Yasushi Noguchi)

Overview

Yasushi Noguchi walks through a data visualisation of one year of daily temperatures in this Japanese class handout. The CSV is read into a Table DAT, normalised with an Evaluate DAT, turned into a channel with DAT to CHOP and used to instance 365 boxes whose grey level follows the temperature in weather_day_gray.toe, and the page also explains a hue version built with the HSV to RGB CHOP.

The data file weather_day2021.csv and two samples based on Matthew Ragan's temperature tutorials (temp_visualization.toe and temp_visualize_motion.toe) are downloadable too. All files are small free zips on the class site, although the link for the hue version returns an error.
