Free TouchDesigner Project: KantanMapper Projection Mapping Setup (CMU Reactive Spaces Course)
Original title: TouchDesigner + Projection Mapping · Reactive Spaces and Media Architecture
Overview
In this tutorial from Jakob Marsico's Carnegie Mellon course Reactive Spaces and Media Architecture, projection mapping is done with KantanMapper, the palette tool the course calls the most straightforward option. The steps cover setting the projector to 1280x720 for the free edition, sending the Kantan window to the projector output, and creating rectangle or freeform surfaces to mask and warp content onto objects. td_projectionMapping.toe is the example file, and camSchnappr is mentioned for mapping onto modelled geometry.
It is a free Google Drive download from the course's TouchDesigner Examples folder.
