Free Unity 6 Project: 2D Game Kit No-Code Adventure Sample (Unity)

Overview

Unity Technologies offers the 2D Game Kit, a collection of ready-made gameplay systems, tools and assets for creating a 2D adventure game without writing code. Its complete playable example follows Principal Engineer Ellen across the ruins of an alien planet, with player movement, combat and interactions, enemies and environmental hazards, and collectibles.

Environment, character, animation, VFX and audio assets come with example levels that show how the systems work together, alongside a Get started tutorial on Unity Learn. Version 5.0 (287.2 MB) was updated to Unity 6000.3 and is free after signing in with a Unity account, under the Unity Companion License.
