Overview

Microsoft shares MixedReality-Unreal-Samples, a repository of mixed reality sample projects built with Unreal Engine 4.26 for HoloLens 2. HoloLens 2 Example spawns Paragon minions on the surfaces of the real world and stores their locations with persistent anchors, using a fingertip cursor, pushable buttons and spatial mapping with collision.

Chess App is the final result of the Unreal plus UX Tools tutorial in the Microsoft Mixed Reality docs, with a chess board, a chess piece and a reset button handled through direct and far manipulation, and the repository also contains an HL2Collab project. The archived, MIT-licensed repository is a free download from GitHub, and the README explains how to run the samples on a HoloLens 2, in the emulator or by streaming from a PC.
