Free Unreal Engine 5.3 Project: MetaSynthOne Polyphonic MetaSounds Synth (Matt Spendlove)
Original title: MetaSounds Synth Repo (MetaSynthOne)
Overview
Matt Spendlove (msp) shares MetaSoundsSynthRepo, a repository collecting MetaSound synth engines and presets for games and interactive experiences. Its main piece is MetaSynthOne, an open source, multitimbral, polyphonic synth loosely based on AudioKit Synth One that runs inside Unreal Engine 5.
Because MetaSounds do not support polyphony out of the box, the project rolls its own solution and wraps the MetaSound in a Blueprint so it can work with Sequencer, Blueprint scripting and UMG widgets that tweak the sound engine at runtime. The project opens in Unreal Engine 5.3 with the ViewModel plugin enabled, uses Git LFS so it must be cloned rather than downloaded as a folder, and is free on GitHub under the MIT license.
