Free After Effects 2023 Animation Preset: BeatSync BPM Counter for Cutting to Music (Guild)

Original title: 【After Effects】音ハメ用 BPMカウント

Overview

Guild shares BeatSync, a free After Effects preset that counts beats at a chosen tempo (BPM), meant as a guide layer for syncing edits to music. The text colour changes for one frame on each beat, so cuts can be lined up with those frames.

The preset is BeatSync.ffx, applied to a new text layer from the Effects & Presets panel, and the listing confirms it works in After Effects 2023. BOOTH lists it at ¥0, and the download (BeatSync.zip) requires a free pixiv/BOOTH account login.
