Overview
AE Screens offers Num, a free After Effects preset for formatting and animating numbers. The free version adds commas, controls decimal points, adds $, % and other symbols, sets a fixed number of digits and works with universal expressions, while the paid Num Pro option adds monospacing, big number abbreviators and exponential scaling.
The Gumroad download (free option at $0, email at checkout) contains the Num preset (.ffx) and a Num guide (.txt), and the listing links a tutorial video. The FAQ says templates and MOGRTs made with it can be sold and used for any purpose without attribution, and that its Track Matte features need After Effects 2023 while earlier versions still work.
