Free Revit 2023 Project: HBIM Reconstruction of Four 16th-Century Chiado Blocks, Lisbon (Luana Pimenta)

Overview

Luana Pimenta shares on Zenodo the digital annexes of her master's dissertation at Instituto Superior Técnico on the three-dimensional reconstruction of four blocks of Lisbon's Chiado in the 16th century. The work reconstructs part of Vila Nova de Santa Catarina before the 1755 earthquake, based on historical studies by the Gabinete de Estudos Olissiponenses and other documentation.

The archive includes an HBIM/Revit model of the area with separate block models and a topography model, parametric Revit families, a historical source database with cartographic and iconographic sources and property record transcriptions, and a guide to the dataset. The main model was saved in Revit 2023, and the roughly 1 GB zip is free under CC BY 4.0.
