Overview

The Revit User Group Japan (RUG) publishes this generic MEP family library on Autodesk's BIM Design site as part of its standardized Japanese Revit content. Part 1 (mechanical) holds 334 Revit families for heat sources, air handling units, fan coil units, packaged air conditioners, fans, VAV/CAV units, air terminals, duct and pipe accessories, sprinkler and fire-hydrant equipment, plumbing fixtures and system connectors, plus construction tags and a published family list in Excel.

The page notes that the parameter values entered in the generic families are reference values to be reviewed for each project. The Revit 2024 ZIP (about 188 MB) is a free direct download after a one-click disclaimer, and Revit 2021 to 2023 versions plus a Part 2 electrical pack are offered on the same page.
