Free Revit 2024 Family: Vitruvian Tuscan Column with Nested Base, Shaft and Capital (Giacomo Mancuso)

Overview

Giacomo Mancuso publishes a simple parametric Tuscan column on Zenodo, built from the description Vitruvius gives in De Architectura (IV, VII, 3-4). The Column Tuscanic.rfa family was created in Revit 2024 and hosts the base, shaft and capital as nested families, which are also saved in a NestedFamilies folder.

The family parameter tooltips explain how the ancient text was interpreted. The ZIP is an open-access download under a CC BY 4.0 licence.
