Overview

Hawkins\Brown shares on GitHub the Revit starter files for HBERT, its open-source plug-in that measures the embodied carbon of materials in a Revit model. One project file is provided for each Revit version from 2018 to 2024.

According to the user guide, each file holds a Carbon Materials Library design option with HBA materials carrying embodied carbon values taken from the Bath University Inventory of Carbon and Energy, plus an Embodied Carbon schedule, and new models should be created inside these files. Running the carbon calculation needs the HBERT add-in from the same MIT-licensed repository, and the files are free to download.
