Free Revit Family Pack: Manueline Style Heritage Doors and Windows from Sintra National Palace (Machete et al.)

Overview

Rita Machete, Ana Paula Falcão, Alexandre B. Gonçalves, Márcia Godinho and Rita Bento share a Manueline style object library on Zenodo, created from the assets of the Sintra National Palace for research on BIM modelling in this architectural style. The ZIP holds 113 Revit families: 62 doors and 47 windows with stone, chamfered and arched frames, window benches, overlites and different glazing and panel layouts.

One door frame is also modelled four ways, as two meshes of different density, a parametric family and a silhouette, which makes it useful for comparing heritage modelling approaches. The open-access download is about 320 MB under a CC BY 4.0 licence, and the authors ask users to cite their article in the International Journal of Architectural Heritage.
