Overview

Ivan DelSol explains in this derivative.ca tutorial how to run Python code with a delay in TouchDesigner using the global run function. The post goes through every option of run, including running at the end of the current frame, delayFrames and delayMilliSeconds, passing arguments or a callable, running relative to an operator with fromOP, and labelling runs with a group so they can be managed through td.runs. runExamples.toe, attached to the post, contains all of the examples ready to run from Text DATs with output in the textport.
