Free TouchDesigner Project: Intro to Operators, CHOP Data and References (CMU Reactive Spaces Course)

Overview

Jakob Marsico wrote this introduction to TouchDesigner for Reactive Spaces and Media Architecture, a Fall 2019 course at Carnegie Mellon University. It explains the operator families, generators versus filters, how CHOPs hold data as samples and channels, how a CHOP to DAT turns channels into table columns, and how channel references drive other parameters.

The example files intro_td.toe and chop_dat_data.tox are shared from the course's TouchDesigner Examples folder. Both are free Google Drive downloads.
