Free TouchDesigner Project: Virtual Split-Flap Departure Board (Greg Finger)

Overview

Greg Finger shares splitFlap.toe, a virtual split-flap display in TouchDesigner styled like a departure board. Rows are typed into a UI table with sections for platform, destination, time, status, color, order and blinking, and the flaps can flip at a set speed or over a set duration with optional easing.

A clacking sound is triggered during each flip, and the Ableton project used to make the sound is included, along with adjustable title texts, fonts and colors. The project is a free direct download from GitHub.
