Free Unity 6 Project: North Star Meta Quest VR Sailing Showcase (Meta)

Overview

Meta shares North Star, a visual showcase that demonstrates the visual fidelity possible on Meta Quest devices, as a Unity project in the oculus-samples organization. Inspired by the age of sail, the player is a new deckhand aboard the Polaris on a quest to find a mythical sunken treasure.

It is built with Interaction SDK for interactions, Movement SDK for full body tracking and Audio SDK for spatialized sounds, designed for hand tracking with full controller support. The README asks for Unity 6000.0.59f2 or newer and Git LFS, starts from the Launch scene, and the project is free under the MIT license.
