Free Unity Tool: Box, Radial and Triangle Unit Formations (Tarodev)

Overview

Tarodev shares Unity Formations, a set of simple scripts for arranging units in formations. Box, radial and triangle formations share a common base class, a FormationRenderer draws the layout as gizmos, and an ExampleArmy script spawns units into it.

Box and radial formation scripts with ready prefabs (Box Formation, Radial Formation, Example Army) are also packed in Formations.unitypackage at the root of the repository for a quick drop-in. It is a free GitHub download with no license file.
