Overview

FreetimeCoder (Pascal Krabbe) shares this free Unreal Engine project as the companion to his YouTube tutorial series on Procedural Content Generation (PCG). It collects the series' example content in numbered folders, from PCG basics, splines, scattering points and subgraphs to custom actors and attributes, sampling meshes, custom nodes, a jungle breakdown, landscape layer data, world ray hit queries, post-generate and level-to-PCG examples.

The project enables the PCG, Water and Landmass plugins and has been updated to Unreal Engine 5.5. The MIT-licensed repository is a free download from GitHub.

What You Can Learn

  • Building PCG graphs that follow splines, scatter points and reuse logic through subgraphs
  • Extending PCG with custom actors and attributes, mesh sampling and custom nodes
