Overview

J.F. Heinrich shares a free Cubase MIDI Remote script for the Behringer FCB1010 foot controller running the UnO2 setup on GitHub. It is aimed at players who cannot reach a mouse or keyboard while performing: footswitch 1 starts recording on press and stops it on release, and the other active footswitches handle play, stop, cycle, tap tempo, rewind, forward, undo and the metronome.

The stop path is debounced to avoid repeated stop bursts, and the Cubase surface is drawn like the real pedalboard with two expression pedal areas and two rows of five switches. The .js script and an UnO2 setup text file are MIT-licensed direct downloads.
