Overview

Paul Warner shares a free Cubase MIDI Remote script for the Korg nanoKONTROL2 on the Steinberg forums, made to control recording without leaving the instrument. Channels 1 to 7 are fixed to the first seven tracks for volume, mute, solo and record enable, which suits setting up a cue mix from across the room.

Channel 8 is a Kustom Channel for metronome level and on/off, zoom and mute or solo of the selected track, and button combinations cover save, return to zero, undo and redo, markers and cycle markers. The .midiremote file is attached to the post.
