Overview

Paul Warner shares a free Cubase MIDI Remote script for the TASCAM US-428 control surface, a unit that shipped with Cubase and was supported natively only up to Cubase 10.5. The F1, F2 and F3 buttons switch between three banks of eight channels, the EQ and AUX buttons select EQ bands and FX sends, and the jog wheel sets the selected send level or zooms.

ASGN and SOLO modes change what the buttons do, the NULL button toggles the metronome and the REC Master button bypasses the master bus inserts. The script and a zipped .js version are attached to the forum post.
