Overview
Danny Laursen shares two HDAs that make rendering flipbooks easier, one for the OBJ context and one for Solaris, and gives a short tutorial on each. The HDAs render a flipbook and convert the JPG sequence into an MP4 or GIF file using the ffmpeg node in TOPs, with camera override, frame range, output directory, output format, output filename, resolution override and the scene FPS for the video.
The first version was created for Houdini 19.5, and the current OBJ v1.9 and LOPs v1.4 were updated to function with H20.5; installation means moving the .hda files into the otls folder. They are free on Gumroad as pay-what-you-want from €0, with €5 suggested.
