Overview

Slime-Simulation is the source project for Sebastian Lague's 'Coding Adventure: Ant and Slime Simulations' video, built in Unity 2020.3. Physarum-style slime mould agents are simulated on the GPU with compute shaders, depositing into a trail map that diffuses and decays each frame, which produces the emergent organic patterns seen in the video.

The project is available on GitHub as a free direct download under the GPL-3.0 license. A compact and visually rewarding way to learn agent-based simulation and compute shaders in Unity, with only a handful of files to read through.
