Overview

lilxyzw shares lilToon, a feature-rich toon shader developed for services that use avatars, such as VR social platforms. Its site lists one-click setup from presets with saving of custom presets, color correction for avatar edits that can be exported as a texture, anti-aliased shading for smooth anime-style shading, and measures against blown-out whites and seeing through translucent objects like water.

The editor rewrites the shader to switch features on and off so unused features add no cost, and the package includes variants for outline, fur, gem, refraction and tessellation. It installs as a unitypackage, through a UPM git URL or VCC, targets Unity 2022.3 or later and is free under the MIT license.
