Overview

Ray-Tracing is the source project for Sebastian Lague's 'Coding Adventure: Ray Tracing' video, updated for Unity 6 (6000.1) on the Built-in Render Pipeline. It contains a real-time path tracer written as a Unity fragment and compute shader in HLSL, with BVH acceleration, a materials system and progressive accumulation for converging the image over time.

The full project is available on GitHub as a free direct download under the MIT license. Useful for anyone who wants to read a compact, working path tracer inside Unity rather than a standalone renderer, or to study how BVH traversal is written in shader code.
